About Verbaterm
Verbaterm helps people understand the policies they already have to accept — without pretending that software can replace a lawyer.
What we build
Verbaterm reviews Terms of Service, privacy policies, and subscription language in plain English. Every visible finding must include severity, confidence, and a cited source excerpt so users can verify the claim against the original text.
Private reviews are always private. Pasted text stays on your account and is never published to the public library or rankings. The public policy library will always remain free to browse, and it only publishes official public sources after admin review.
What we will not do
- Provide legal advice or tell you whether to accept a policy.
- Publish private pasted text into the public library or rankings.
- Let ads, sponsors, or paid placement influence risk scores, summaries, rankings, finding order, severity, or citations.
- Treat uncited AI claims as company failures. Unsupported claims stay hidden.
How the product works
Paste policy text or browse the public library. Verbaterm runs a citation-first review pipeline, shows risk flags and themed sections, and keeps a 1-minute summary grounded only in findings that survive citation validation.
Free accounts get a limited monthly review allowance. One-time review credits and Plus subscription capacity are available on the Plans page when you need more reviews or longer documents.
Who operates Verbaterm
Verbaterm is operated by Verbaterm and its operators. This about page describes the product and its trust boundaries. Binding site terms live on the legal notice, with related disclosures in the privacy policy and terms of service.
