Cookie Policy
This cookie policy explains how Verbaterm and its operators use cookies and similar browser storage. Verbaterm currently focuses on essential product storage rather than advertising or third-party marketing analytics cookies.

1. What this covers
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Verbaterm also uses related technologies such as local storage. Together, these help the product remember sign-in sessions, legal-notice acceptance, and temporary review drafts.
2. Essential cookies and storage we use
- Authentication sessions. Clerk sets cookies or similar session storage needed to keep you signed in and protect account routes.
- Legal notice acceptance. After you accept the site-wide notice, Verbaterm stores the accepted notice version in local storage so the banner does not reappear until the notice version changes.
- Review drafts. Temporary paste-text drafts may be saved in local storage so an unfinished review can be resumed on the same browser.
- Security and fraud prevention. Hosting, authentication, or payment providers may set strictly necessary cookies to secure requests, prevent abuse, or complete checkout.
3. What we do not currently use
Verbaterm does not currently ship a separate third-party marketing analytics, advertising, or retargeting cookie package in the application. If that changes, this page will be updated and, where required, additional consent controls will be added.
4. Your choices
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or other core features from working.
- Clearing site data removes legal-notice acceptance on that device, so the acknowledgment banner may appear again.
- Clearing local storage can also remove unsaved review drafts on that browser.
5. More information
Personal-data practices are described in the privacy policy. Binding site use terms remain on the legal notice. Product account terms are on the terms of service.
