Liability for damages and losses is limited to $50 or amount paid in 12 months

Garmin's total liability for all losses and damages, including for any implied warranties, will not exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00) or the total amount paid to Garmin to use any service or feature in the twelve months prior to a claim.

Why it matters: If you incur significant damages or losses related to your use of Garmin's services, your ability to recover those losses from Garmin may be limited to a maximum of $50 or the amount you paid for services in the preceding twelve months.

No warranties for site operation or content reliability

Garmin makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the Content or about the results to be obtained from using the Site and the Content, and does not warrant that the Site will operate error-free or that the Site or its servers are free of computer viruses or other harmful goods.

Why it matters: You are exposed to risks if the site experiences errors, viruses, or if the content is not accurate, reliable, or complete, as Garmin disclaims warranties for these aspects.

Loss of profits or data due to site use is not Garmin's responsibility

If your use of the site or the content results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or loss of profits or data, Garmin will not be responsible for those costs.

Why it matters: You will bear the financial burden and consequences if your equipment needs servicing, or if you lose profits or data, due to problems with the site or its content.

Data submission is at your sole risk, no liability for loss

Therefore, submission of such information or data is at your sole risk, and you release Garmin from all liability for loss or liability relating to such information.

Garmin has a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use user-submitted content

By submitting User Submissions to the Site, you grant, or warrant that the owner of such material has expressly granted, Garmin the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such material (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology.

Why it matters: Garmin can use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute anything you submit to the site, perpetually and irrevocably, without owing you royalties.

Feedback is non-confidential and can be used on an unrestricted basis

Any feedback you provide at the Site will be deemed to be non-confidential, and Garmin will be free to use such information on an unrestricted basis.

Why it matters: Any feedback you provide can be used by Garmin without restrictions or confidentiality, meaning they can use your ideas without obligation to you.
